Norway vs Austria Predicted lineup, betting tips, odds, injury news, H2H, telecast | UEFA Nations League 2024-25
All four nations of this group are on one point each.
After a disappointing goalless draw against Kazakhstan in their opening UEFA Nations League game, Norway will be keen to bounce back to winning ways. The Lions put up a very disappointing performance against the Hawks. They even failed to find the back of the net despite having a star-studded attacking lineup against a nation who are ranked 59 places below them.
Standing in their way will be Ralf Ragnick’s Austria. They also ended their first game in a stalemate against Slovenia. The Team came back from behind after going a goal down very early in the game. However, a draw is not the most favourable result expected from the group favourites. A lot needs to be done by Ralf Ragnick and his men.
Kick Off
Monday, September 9, 6:45 PM GMT
Tuesday, September 10, 12:15 AM IST
Venue: Ullevaal Stadion
Form
Norway (in all competitions): D-L-W-D-L
Austria (in all competitions): D-L-W-W-L
Players to watch
Erling Haaland (Norway)
The Manchester City forward is no stranger to finding the back of the net. He is a proven goalscorer and has done more than enough to prove his worth. While Haaland is an absolute beast in England, he seems to be a different player for Norway.
The striker hasn’t done enough in the last few games. Haaland did not have a great outing in the opening game against Kazakhstan. He will be eyeing his first goal of the campaign against Austria.
Maximilian Wober (Austria)
Maximilian Wober put up a great performance in the last game. He did everything in his power to keep Slovenia’s forwards at bay. He is known for his ground-duel-winning abilities and is a leader at the back.
For Ralf Rangnick’s men to get something out of this game, Wober will need to be at the top of his game. He will have to keep the star-studded attacking line led by Haaland in check.
