Claudio Bravo (41 years, 2 months)
The oldest player in the tournament who is still playing an integral role for his team is the Chilean shot stopper Claudio Bravo.
The 41-year-old goalkeeper made history by becoming the oldest player to play in a CONMEBOL Copa America match this century when he started for Chile in their opening game of the competition against Peru, keeping a clean sheet in a goalless draw that saw him make four crucial saves.
Heading into the tournament, the Chilean legend served as a backup goalkeeping option for Real Betis this season. Bravo ended up starting in goal for nine matches across all competitions, keeping two clean sheets in the process.
The two-time Copa America winning captain (2015 and 2016) will be instrumental once again if Chile are to have a successful tournament this time around.
