Ousmane Dembele now favourites to win Ballon d'Or 2025 over Raphinha & Lamine Yamal as per bookmakers

The Frenchman is enjoying the most impressive season of his career.
With PSG vs Inter Milan in the Champions League final, the competition for the 2025 Ballon d’Or has drastically changed.
Ousmane Dembele is now the clear favourite to win the Ballon d’Or, according to the bookmakers and additionally after PSG’s incredible performance that eliminated Arsenal in the Champions League semi-final.
The Frenchman has played a key part in PSG’s every game since the start of the new year and his influence on the pitch has put at the top of the Ballon d’Or list for this year.
With the focus now on the Champions League Final as the season’s pivotal event, his game-winning performances for PSG this season have put him squarely in the running to earn football’s greatest individual honour.
Is the real Ousmane Dembele here at last? The France winger, who is obviously a player of exceptional talent, has irritated supporters more than he has delighted them since leaving Borussia Dortmund for Barcelona.
However, in his second season at PSG, Dembele has settled into a routine, and his efforts have allowed the French champions to maintain their grasp on Ligue 1.
Dembele’s goals at Anfield and the Emirates helped them defeat Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal, putting their hopes of winning the Champions League at last within striking distance. Suddenly, under the leadership of their flying forward, Luis Enrique’s team appears to be the best in Europe.
On top of that, he has been instrumental in every match for PSG, and this has raised his stock to win the most coveted prize in football. Earlier, it was Raphinha, but Barcelona’s elimination in the semi-final has now seen Ousmane Dembele overtake him in the Ballon d’Or ranking.
The former Barcelona star can also win the treble as PSG are set to play in the final of the Coupe de France, then the Champions League, and if he manages to lift both trophies, then we can expect him to win the Ballon d’Or as well in October.
