PFA 2024 Awards: List of all winners & Team of the Year

Phil Foden named PFA Players’ Player of the Year.
Manchester City star Phil Foden claimed the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Players’ Player of the Year award. Chelsea star Cole Palmer won the Young Player of the Year award. It all happened at the PFA’s 51st-anniversary awards event in Salford.
Foden enjoyed a productive last season scoring 19 league goals along with eight assists. He was also impressive in the UEFA Champions League, accumulating five goals and three assists in eight appearances.
Foden beat his teammates Erling Haaland and Rodri to win the award, while Cole Palmer, Ollie Watkins and Martin Odeggard made up the top six.
Palmer who joined Chelsea from Man City last season was emphatic in his first season at Stamford Bridge. He scored 22 Premier League goals for the Blues.
In the meantime, Grace Clinton of Tottenham and Khadija “Bunny” Shaw of Manchester City were selected as the PFA Players’ Young Player of the Year and PFA Players’ Women’s Player of the Year, respectively, by fellow players.
The men’s PFA Merit medal went to MK Dons defender Dean Lewington. The women’s Merit prize went to England’s great Fara Williams. Williams finished her playing days as the most-capped footballer in England’s history. After playing 177 games, she netted 40 goals for the Lionesses during a span of eighteen years.
