Portugal squad for November international break; Cristiano Ronaldo to lead again

The Selecao will face Croatia and Poland in the Nations League games.
Roberto Martínez, the manager of Portugal, has announced his team for the next Nations League matches against Croatia and Poland.
Despite his recent poor showings for the national team, 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo still has a spot on the list.
Rúben Neves, Ronaldo’s international teammate from Al-Hilal, has not been included in the list alongside Ruben Dias. Portugal will fly to Croatia on Monday after playing Poland at home on Friday, November 15.
Because of injuries, both Rúben Dias and Rúben Neves of Al Hilal will miss the national team’s remaining group-stage games, which are crucial for securing their spot in the quarterfinals.
With António Silva seeing little playing time at Benfica and Sporting’s Gonçalo Inácio joining Rúben Dias on the list of absentees due to physical worries, doubts are growing at the Cidade de Futebol as a result of defensive line setbacks.
Portugal lead Group A1 with 10 points going into this encounter, ahead of Croatia (7), Poland (4), and Scotland (1). They have already defeated Poland (3-1) and drawn with Scotland (0-0). In this fourth season, the top two sides from each of the four League A groups go to the quarterfinals.
With a goal by Gonçalo Guedes, Portugal defeated the Netherlands 1-0 in the final at the Estádio do Dragão in 2019 to win the first Nations League.
