The England international picked his top five best players.

Unexpectedly, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo did not rank in the top two in Raheem Sterling’s list of his top five favourite football players. His favourite football player is the renowned Brazilian and former Barcelona player Ronaldinho.

The Arsenal player Raheem Sterling has discussed his all-time favourite football player. Fans around the world are stunned that he chose Ronaldinho as his favourite player over Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Even if Messi and Ronaldo are among the best players, they also join the ranks of the famous Brazilian star Ronaldinho, but they are not the top two on the list.

During his career, Ronaldinho played for a number of elite teams, including Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, where he recorded 94 goals and 71 assists in 207 games. Even more intriguing was the fact that Raheem Sterling ranked Messi third and Neymar as his second favourite football player.

Additionally, he mentioned that Cristiano Ronaldo was ranked fifth on his list of favourite players, while Ronaldo Nazario, a Brazilian attacker, came in fourth. Raheem Sterling’s decision to exclude Portugal‘s Ronaldo and Messi from his top two, which ideally are the top two of many of them, has shocked a number of players and supporters.

However, many cannot argue his stance on the greatest of all time as not all players will always name Messi and Ronaldo as the best players from their point of view.

Many other active stars certainly look up to other retired players who made massive impacts throughout their playing careers.

Both Messi and Ronaldo are nearing the end of their careers and may soon announce their retirement in the coming years. Messi plays for Argentina in international competitions and inter Miami, while Cristiano Ronaldo is now a player of Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
