Mbappe is yet to show his full potential at Los Blancos.

An interesting article from ‘The Athletic’ claims that Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid has caused some internal debate within the team.

Despite the fact that his colleagues clearly appreciate the French striker, there is a general belief that he is not the kind to take centre stage or act as a vocal leader in the locker room.

He shows no signs of trying to inspire or encourage his teammates verbally. Instead, he is entirely focused on his own performance.

Despite being fluent in several languages, he has the strongest friendships with the other French players on the team, Ferland Mendy, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni.

However, Real Madrid are still hopeful about his leadership development, thinking that he will inevitably improve this part of his game as he succeeds on the field.

Those who watch him in training every day observe his dedication and upbeat attitude, despite his reserved demeanour off the field. Though some have noted that he lacks fierce energy, Mbappe always comes to every practice with a good work ethic.

When faced with hardship, Kylian Mbappe rarely displays anger or irritation, in contrast to the fervent and occasionally fiery responses of previous players.

As Mbappe gets used to life at Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti and the coaching staff have begged for patience. Ancelotti has stated that he has faith in the forward and that the team will do everything in its power to help him.

Making sure Mbappe is playing in a position that works best for him is one of the first steps in this approach.

There are, nevertheless, varying views within the team regarding Mbappe’s future. Some think his form will improve as he continues to settle in and enter his prime years.

However, others are more cautious, speculating that, given his performance of late with PSG and France, Mbappe’s finest years may already be over.
