Real Madrid keeping tabs on Arsenal centre-back William Saliba

Saliba has become the backbone of the Gunners’ defence.

Journalist Graeme Bailey claims that Real Madrid are still monitoring centre-back William Saliba of France and Arsenal. Los Blancos have the goal of signing him in the future.

The Frenchman, who has cemented himself as one of the elite defenders in Europe right now, is reportedly greatly admired by Real Madrid.

Because of this, Los Blancos even had sent scouts to observe the 23-year-old Ballon d’Or nominee in action. Particularly during Arsenal’s match against Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Saliba’s contract with Arsenal expires in the summer of 2027. So a sizable bid from Real Madrid is required next summer before the Gunners will even entertain the notion of selling Saliba.
