Los Blancos will be back in action as they gear up for the new season.
Real Madrid have finally started training for the new season. The LaLiga and the European giants were on a break and did not take part in any pre-season tour after the FIFA Club World Cup.
The 2024-25 campaign for the Los Blancos was not up to their standards. Even though they won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup, the Spanish side, renowned for winning major titles every year, missed out on winning any of the domestic tournaments.
They even failed in the UEFA Champions League as they fell prey to Arsenal in the quarter-final stage. Real Madrid were clearly outplayed by the Gunners in the European competition.
Their arch rivals, Barcelona, defeated them all four times during the 2024-25 campaign. After Real Madrid’s poor show, they parted ways with Carlo Ancelotti and appointed Xabi Alonso as their new manager.
This did not change much for Real Madrid as they were thrashed by Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 semifinal. After a few good performances, the Spanish giants were unable to go past PSG.
They were on a break, and as per some reports, things are not looking very positive inside the dressing room for the Los Blancos. If they want to win titles in the upcoming season, they must play as a team under their new head coach.
There have been some notable changes in the squad. Real Madrid legend Luka Modric has left the club to join AC Milan. They have also added some players to the squad to strengthen the lineup.
Real Madrid staff and players are ready to support Xabi Alonso. It will be interesting to see the performances by the LaLiga and European giants in the upcoming season.
They will only play a one-off pre-season friendly and will be looking to try all the strategies they are going to come up in the 2025-26 season.
