Real Madrid Pre-Season 2024-25: Schedule, complete fixtures, results & telecast details

Los Blancos are set to travel to North America once again this summer for their pre-season tour.

Reigning LaLiga champions Real Madrid are set to kick off their pre-season tour in a matter of days, with a total of three friendly matches scheduled in order to prepare for the upcoming 2024–25 season.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid enjoyed a stellar last season as they clinched the La Liga and UEFA Champions League titles along with the Spanish Super Cup to complete an incredible treble of trophies. In La Liga, Madrid won the league by accumulating 95 points, 10 points clear of second-placed FC Barcelona. In the Spanish Super Cup final, Los Blancos once again toppled Barcelona 4-1 to win their second silverware. The Spanish giants then went on to lift their record 15th Champions League title in history, as they defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the final.

Despite all their mega success last campaign, Real Madrid completed the superstar signing of Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer this summer following the expiration of his contract at PSG. In addition, Brazilian sensation Endrick also finally joined the club from Palmeiras. For the upcoming season, Luka Modric was announced as the new club captain after extending his contract until 2025.

For further potential recruitment, President Florentino Pérez will employ a strategic approach by signing players at their set valuation.

The Spanish club officially commenced their pre-season preparations on July 15, with the majority of the squad making their return for the training camp. However, the players that participated in the latter stages of either Euro 2024 or Copa America with their respective nations will be allowed more time off for vacation. This also includes new signing Mbappe, who is among those yet to report back and is expected not to be a part of Madrid’s pre-season tour.

Prior to their official pre-season tour, Los Blancos haven’t played a friendly fixture with any team so far.

As announced by the club back in March, Real Madrid are set to travel to the United States once again this summer for their pre-season tour. During this period, they are scheduled to play three friendly games.

In their opening match, Madrid will face Italian giants AC Milan at the at the iconic Soldier Field in Chicago. This will be followed by a thrilling pre-season El Classico clash against fierce rivals FC Barcelona at the MetLife Stadium. To conclude their USA tour, Carlo Ancelotti’s side will lock horns with Premier League giants Chelsea in an exciting encounter at the Bank of America Stadium.

Just a week following that, Real Madrid will face Europa League winners Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland.
