Real Madrid have revealed their travelling squad for the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta. Kylian Mbappe has also been included and could participate in the game.
Due to his nation’s deep run in Euro 2024, the former attacker for Paris Saint-Germain was not included in Real Madrid’s pre-season tour of the USA. However, after a well-earned break, Carlo Ancelotti and company are currently putting him through his paces on the training field.
Los Blancos manager has already hinted that Mbappe would start in the continental opener in Warsaw, which suggests that the team should switch from their 4-3-1-2 formation from the previous season to a 4-3-3.
Despite suffering an ACL injury last season David Alaba is in the squad for the Super Cup final. It remains to be seen if he is going to be in the starting lineup for the game. A fresh face has been called up, Jacobo Ramón from the Real Academy,
Jude Bellingham might play a little deeper role in midfield alongside Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde now that Toni Kroos is no longer there. Luka Modric and Arda Guler could be used off the bench alongside Camavinga.
Despite doubts about their futures after Mbappe’s arrival, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, both Brazilians, should complete a formidable front three with the Frenchman. Vinicius has reportedly turned down an offer from the Saudi Pro League.
