Ruben Dias' new girlfriend: Meet Maya Jama, her job, Instagram & more

Maya Jama is going to be the next Love Island host.
According to reports, Maya Jama and Ruben Dias are currently dating. The Manchester City star and Love Island host have been “secretly dating for a month.”
It has come to light that the couple dined together on the party island of Ibiza on New Year’s Eve. It is said that the relationship has been developing for a few weeks, but neither has addressed their alleged connection or shared pictures of them together on social media.
Dias, a Portugal international, reportedly first noticed TV host Jama during the MTV Europe Music Awards, which were held in Manchester on November 10, 2024. Jama wore a garment that was modelled after Liz Hurley’s famous safety pin ensemble from the 1994 “Four Weddings and a Funeral” premiere.
A source has told The Sun: “Maya and Ruben swapped details at the EMAs and have chatted since, but things went up a gear in early December. When Ruben got injured and had to miss the congested New Year fixtures, he jumped at the chance to see in 2025 with Maya in Spain. Spending New Year’s Eve together was a real step forward in their relationship. They get on well and make a gorgeous couple, but it’s early days.”
The Sun claims that Jama, who broke up with rap legend Stormzy in July of last year, and Dias, who broke up with Love Island participant Arabella Chi in January 2024, have been “secretly” dating for a month after sparking an initial interest.

“Thirty is a milestone,” Maya said, revealing that her next romantic relationship would be with the guy she plans to marry. “Although I am now quite happy, I want to get married and start a family with the next person I meet.”
