When will Senegal announce their final squad for FIFA World Cup 2026?
Senegal head coach Pape Thiaw is going to reveal final 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Thursday, May 21. The announcement will take place at a press conference hosted at the Sonatel headquarters in VDN, Dakar.
The press conference will be live on FSF TV/YouTube. The timings are yet to be confirmed.
The Senegal national football team might see some surprising new names in the final squad. According to some local reports, head coach Pape Thiaw is looking towards some fresh options. Those players can become a part of his broader strategy.
They are going to compete in two international friendly matches before the tournament. First, they will take on USA on May 31 and Saudi Arabia on June 9.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is going to begin on June 11. The mega competition will be hosted in Canada, Mexico and the USA. A total of 48 teams are going to be competing on the biggest stage of them all.
