Will the Brazilian forward return to Europe?
Neymar Santos’ days might come to an end after the culmination of his contract, which is set to expire at the end of the year. The Brazilian star is now linked with a move back to Europe, where he left an imprint.
It’s been two years since Neymar left Europe and joined Al-Hilal, where he was plagued with injuries. It resulted in his contract being terminated, following which he returned to his childhood club.
However, his return hasn’t been a walk in the park as the player continues to battle with constant ailments. He is presently sidelined until November.
Italian clubs plotting move for Neymar
According to Mundo Deportivo, the forward is attracting interest from Italian teams in the January transfer window. Reports add that he could be open to a move.
The player’s entourage, led by Pini Zahavi, has held talks with top clubs around Europe, who earlier didn’t consider signing him. However, now the clubs feel Neymar’s physical condition has improved compared to previous years, given that the forward has played more consistently.
Meanwhile, another report by Fabrizio Romano has revealed which clubs have expressed interest in signing him. Inter Milan and reigning Serie A champions Napoli, who rejected the chance to sign him last January window, have changed their stance and are giving thought to bringing him to Italy.

Returning to Europe could boost his hopes for a Brazil call-up
Meanwhile, Pini Zahavi’s relationship with both clubs’ executives is a cherry on top that could navigate the 33-year-old’s move to either of the Italian sides.
Moreover, the 33-year-old will be keen to showcase his quality as he still remains the difference maker wherever he goes. Furthermore, the former Barcelona star is aware that playing in Europe will give him a path to the national team, where he has not been called up since 2023.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup nearing, the former Paris Saint-Germain star wants to prove his fitness level to head coach Carlo Ancelotti. The latter has continued to reiterate that he will only select the player if he is fully physically fit.
Who is Pini Zahavi?
Pini Zahavi is a football agent and is also a representative of Neymar.
Which clubs are interested in signing the forward?
