Slovakia are at three points going into this Euro 2024 game after losing 2-1 to Ukraine in their previous encounter. In the end, they require a point in order to potentially progress.

The Slovakians got off to a fantastic start when Ivan Schranz scored with a header in the eleventh minute following a brilliant play by Lukas Haraslin. They led 1-0 at the half. But when Mykola Shaparenko scored to level the game in the 54th minute, everything went apart. In the 80th minute, Roman Yaremchuk gave the Romanians a second goal with a Shaparenko assist.

Romania‘s second group-stage encounter ended in a 2-0 loss against Belgium. Sadly, they were unable to score any goals. In the second minute, Youri Tielemans scored, and in the 80th, Kevin De Bruyne added another goal to keep Belgium’s hopes alive in Euro 2024.

The nations have engaged in eleven games. Remarkably, Slovakia have only triumphed once, while Romania have won five times, with the remaining five games ending in draws.

Nicușor Bancu and Andrei Burcă must make more passes to release Florin Niță from pressure. If Dennis Man, Dragus, and Nicolae Stanciu can arrange better plays to create scoring opportunities, Romania will win the game.
