Spain will face either Netherlands or England in the Euro 2024 final.

La Roja defeated France 2-1 to advance to the Euro 2024 final after two goals in four minutes by Spain completely changed the course of the first forty-five minutes.

Before a goal by Lamine Yamal levelled the score and a goal by Dani Olmo gave Spain the lead in the 25th, Randal Kolo Muani had opened the scoring for Les Bleus.

Luis de la Fuente, the manager of Spain, was compelled to make three changes to the starting lineup from the victory over Germany.

Pedri left the Germany encounter early due to a knee injury, which was later diagnosed as a result of a heavy challenge by Toni Kroos. Olmo maintained his spot in the starting lineup despite replacing Pedri on Friday.

Early on, Spain had the best opportunity. Yamal, who leads the competition in assists, ought to have increased his total in the fifth. The 16-year-old Barcelona winger found Fabian Ruiz with a wonderful cross to the far post, but his header was weak and did not test Mike Maignan.

France capitalised on their early advantage, while La Roja did not. In the ninth, Jesus Navas played Kylian Mbappe onside, just minutes after the player showed great agility by racing across the pitch to stop his move.

As a result, the Real Madrid striker was able to cross the goal so that Kolo Muani, a former colleague from Paris Saint-Germain headed the ball home.

Les Bleus thought to have put an end to the threat, but Yamal grabbed the ball just outside the area and beat Maignan with a spectacular left-footed effort for one of the tournament‘s goals. Yamal became the youngest goal scorer in history with the marker, breaking Johan Vonlathen’s record at 16 years and 362 days

La Roja’s score changed the course of the game, as they took the lead shortly after. After gaining possession of the ball inside the box, Olmo spun around Aurelien Tchouameni and struck the goal.

Even though it looked like the ball would beat Maignan, Kounde put it over the line, and it was declared an own goal. Spain will now either face Netherlands or England on Sunday.
