A few big names will miss the upcoming qualifiers due to injury.
Luis de la Fuente has named his Spain roster for their forthcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Bulgaria & Georgia. Atletico Madrid duo Pablo Barrios and Marcos Llorente have impressed this term and have been called up.
Lamine Yamal, a standout for Barcelona, was reportedly left out of the squad for the home matches against Bulgaria at the Nuevo Jose Zorrilla in Valladolid and Georgia at the Martinez Valero in Elche.
Although Nico Williams is anticipated to make a speedy recovery from his hamstring injury, the 22-year-old has not been picked as a risk.
Notably, Ferran Torres, Mikel Oyarzabal, and Samu Aghehowa were selected, replacing Euro 2024 champion captain Alvaro Morata.
In addition to Gavi, Fermin Lopez, and Dani Carvajal missing due to injury, that was one of the main absences. Fabian Ruiz, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, is also left out as he recovers from an injury.
Aleix Garcia of Bayer Leverkusen rejoins the camp in midfield in place of Fabian. However, with Jesus Rodriguez and Jorge de Frutos both still in the squad, the new generation of attacking potential also appears to be there to stay.
