Liverpool are currently in a rich vein of form and lead the English top-flight

A Premier League supercomputer has heavily favoured Liverpool to win the Premier League, predicting that Arne Slot’s team will defeat Arsenal by ten points.

With two goals from Darwin Nunez, The Reds scored a late 2-0 victory away at Brentford, capping a fantastic weekend in the title battle. Meanwhile, Arsenal lost points with a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa.

With just one league loss this season, Liverpool lead the table by six points and appear to be the favourites to win the league for the first time since 2020.

For the past three seasons, Arsenal have been in the running for the title race, but they have been painfully unsuccessful following losing twice to Manchester City, and now they appear to be being held out by Liverpool.

According to a supercomputer named BETSiE, Liverpool will win the championship by a margin of 10 points. The Reds are expected to average 85.8 points, while Arsenal will accumulate 75.6 points.

Additionally, BETSiE has calculated the odds of each team winning the league, giving Liverpool a 92 per cent chance. Sadly, Arsenal have only been given a 7.3 percent probability of winning their first title since 2003–04.

It predicts that Arsenal will only win 21.3 games and lose five times, with 11 draws, whereas Liverpool will win 25.9 games and only lose four.

The supercomputer predicts that Arsenal and the Blues will be separated by a substantial nine points, with Chelsea in third place and Manchester City in fourth.

Ipswich, Leicester, and Southampton will be relegated, while Manchester United and Tottenham will place eleventh and twelfth, respectively, with Nottingham Forest and Newcastle securing their places in the Europa League.

Next weekend, Liverpool will host Ipswich following a Champions League trip to Lille, while Arsenal will visit Wolves following a European match against Dinamo Zagreb.
