[WATCH] Thierry Henry names IShowSpeed captain for Sidemen Charity Match 2025

IshowSpeed was invited to CBS Sports coverage for last night’s Champions League matches.

Pundit Micah Richards invited the American streamer IShowSpeed to the CBS studio when he was in London. The famous streamer talked about a lot of things and also highlighted that he will participate in the upcoming Sidemen Charity Match 2025.

In February, the American social media celebrity participated in a charity game in Qatar versus Thierry Henry, Richards’ CBS coworker.

Amazingly, Speed, a huge fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, finally made it to the studio and BACKFLIPPED off the desk before the closing of time of the coverage.

Speed, who will now be the captain, received the Sidemen captain’s armband from Henry during the coverage event. Then, at the Sidemen Charity Match 2025, IShowSpeed spoke to the crowd as captain of the YouTube All-Stars XI team:

“We are the captain for the YouTubers. Sidemen Charity Match, man. We are the captain, man. I do want to say that, chat, we are the captain on the Sidemen Charity Match.”

As they guide a team against YouTube Allstars, the Sidemen, a YouTube group consisting of new Britain’s Got Talent judge KSI, will grace the national stadium’s grass for their yearly charity tournament.

The game will be contested at Wembley for the first time this weekend after previously being contested at Southampton’s St Mary’s, West Ham‘s London Stadium, and Charlton’s The Valley.

Ninety thousand tickets were sold out in three hours, and the stadium was completely booked for the event. After the last three games, which saw the Sidemen win 8-5, 8-7, and 7-1, fans will be hoping for some entertainment.

This time, the gang is collecting money for Bright Side, a grant-making organization founded by the Sidemen in 2023, and Children in Need. In addition to helping people find a safe place to call home, it aims to support organizations and charities that give young people plenty of possibilities and education.
