Spurs have been handed a major boost with the return of four players from injury.

Randal Kolo Muani, Lucas Bergvall, and Pape Matar Sarr are all ready to play against Arsenal, according to Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank.

Mohammed Kudus is expected to make a comeback after missing the previous two games. Spurs will play their first north London derby of the season today at the Emirates Stadium.

Tottenham’s preparations for the crucial match were severely disrupted following multiple alarming injury reports during the November international break.

After being substituted early for Senegal in the second half of their exhibition loss to Brazil on Saturday, Sarr returned to Tottenham ahead of schedule.

Bergvall, meanwhile, withdrew from Sweden duty due to a reaction to additional testing about the concussion he sustained in the month-opening 1-0 loss to Chelsea.

Regarding Kolo Muani, he missed both of France’s World Cup qualifiers due to an injury he sustained in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United.

Speaking about the injuries, Thomas Frank stated that Kudus is available. He added that the Spurs had received some encouraging injury news during the Friday afternoon pre-match press conference.

“Pape trained today,” coach Frank said on Friday.

“He’s ready, available. Lucas trained today. Ready, available. Kolo Muani, yes. Trained today. Available, of course has a mask [he] needs to play with.”

Thomas Frank also mentioned that Radu Dragusin, Archie Gray, Ben Davies, and Kota Takai are all getting close to making their comebacks. However, Dominic Solanke’s return is still not confirmed.

On Solanke, Frank said: “Dom is not ready yet. I think he also had an article recently where he spoke about it. So we are very, as I said, the same.”

“Very aware that when we put him out there, we want to be absolutely sure, as sure as we can be, that no setback going forward. So I’m comfortable he will soon be ready, but I will not put a timeframe on it.”

The coach also talked about defender Dragusin.

Frank further added: “Radu, very happy. Full training in everything for a couple of weeks. Played his first 45 minutes in nine months. Very happy with that. Trained fully today.”

“He’s definitely getting very close to be able to be selected. Now it’s just a matter of performance and probably a few more game minutes to be fully, fully available.”
