Tottenham ready to meet Dominic Solanke's £65m price tag: Report

The striker has given green light to Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur are now pressing for the signing of Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke. They are willing to meet his price tag, which is around £65 million. The North London club have failed to find a replacement for Harry Kane so far, who left for Bayern Munich last season.
Spurs signed Richarlison, who has struggled since his move. The club are open to selling the Brazilian in order to get Solanke on board. The Cherries striker scored an impressive 19 Premier League goals, only behind Alexander Isak, Cole Palmer and Erling Haaland last campaign.
The striker is reportedly open to joining Spurs. All that needs to happen is for Tottenham to pony up the money necessary to cover the transfer value.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed excellent spells at Bournemouth. He rose to the occasion last season where his performance in the league made him an intriguing striker.
However, the player’s time at Chelsea and Liverpool were not all easygoing as he struggled to make an imprint. But his move to Cherries was a wise decision as he led them to Premier League promotion. In his second season in the English top flight with them, he became a well-known player in the league.
Solanke has played for a London club before so it won’t be a strange city for him. Moreover, it will be a fresh start to his career once Tottenham complete the deal and fork out money to meet his release clause.
Solanke will be a perfect signing for Spurs, having played in the league for two seasons. He will join a better-attacking team, and he will also receive better services from his teammates to score goals.
Now it remains to be seen how Spurs will approach Bournemouth for the 26-year-old. He is a scintillating forward and will fit like a glove under Ange Postecoglou.
