Trent Alexander-Arnold has no plans to leave Liverpool amid Real Madrid interest: Reports

The Reds set to hand right-back a remunerative.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has no intention of joining Real Madrid. Liverpool are set to renew his contract to fend off interest from the Spanish club. The Reds want to hand a lucrative contract to the 25-year-old to do so.
Meanwhile, Madrid are forming a new Galacticos after signing Kylian Mbappe this summer and Jude Bellingham last season. Los Blancos hope to add a right-back as Dani Carvajal is reaching the twilight of his career and Lucas Vazquez isn’t a preferred option under Carlo Ancelotti.
But Madrid’s pursuit of the England right-back might have been dented. The Liverpool academy player wants to continue at Anfield and spoke to new manager Arne Slot regarding the beginning of a new era under him.
Alexander-Arnold has been the mainstay at Liverpool ever since he emerged from the academy. He has been their first-choice right-back and has won the UEFA Champions League and Premier League with them.
However, after the exit of long-term serving manager Jurgen Klopp, the right-back’s future was in doubt, who formed an excellent relationship with the German manager.
A source connected to the club said: “Trent’s spoken to the new manager already.
“This took place before the Euros, and they’re in touch now. They had a great conversation initially, but the manager respected that he needed to focus on the tournament.
“Trent, like the rest of the squad, sees this as a new beginning and a fresh start, and he is excited to get back to training to lay the foundations for a successful new season.
“He is definitely committed for the season, and a huge deal will be presented to him to stay beyond that. Everyone at the club has huge admiration for Trent and will be doing whatever it takes to keep him.
Alexander-Arnold will join the Liverpool squad before the start of the new season after he helped England reach the Euro 2024 final. He has also been tipped to take over the captaincy role for next season. His versatility allows him to adjust to the right-back and midfield roles, and next season he will have a crucial role to play under the new manager.
