Venezuela vs Canada: All-time head-to-head record | Copa America 2024

This will be the third time both nations face each other.
In Texas, two teams vying for a historic win square off, as Jesse Marsch’s Canada attempt to slow down Fernando Batista’s scorching Venezuela.
Although Canada have only participated at two World Cups and have never won a match at the tournament, they did make it to the knockout rounds at the Copa America on their first trip.
Venezuela have never qualified for the World Cup and have just once (in 2011) made it past the Copa America quarter-finals.
They are a winnable game away from making it to the semi-finals and perhaps facing Argentina. La Vinotinto have improved way more over the last 20 years than in any other period.
After scoring two goals each during the group, Eduard Bello and Salomon Rondon have been playing well for a while and are in good shape.
Ecuador were defeated 2-1 by Venezuela. Jamaica lost 3-0 and Mexico 1-0. Many had predicted that Fernando Batista’s side would be eliminated from the Copa America 2024 in the group. Now, they are among the three favourite teams to end up winning the title. There’s a high vibe in this group at the moment.
Canada lost the first game 2-0 to Argentina, but despite that, they managed to progress from Group A. Marsch’s team managed to repel Peru with a 1-0 win and Chile by playing out a draw.
They only managed one goal though. If Canada win against Venezuela then they will require much more from Jonathan David and Alphonso Davies to eliminate Argentina or Ecuador in the semi-finals.
