The Brazilian’s deal with Los Blancos runs out in 2027.

Vinicius Jr has once again shut down speculations of him linking with other clubs. The forward has confirmed that he is calm about his future and can’t wait to renew his deal with Real Madrid, which ends in 2027.

The Brazilian forward has been targeted by Saudi club Al-Hilal, who are ready to make the player their most expensive signing in transfer history. There is a $1bn (£832.2m) offer on the table for Vinicius from the Saudi Pro League team.

However, rumours have already started to gather around. A few weeks ago, the player’s agent held talks with the club over the contract renewal. It was believed that they turned down the club’s initial deal offer as they didn’t meet Vinicius’ expectations.

More speculations confirmed that Vinicius had been giving second thoughts to the Saudi club’s offer, but his recent comment on Madrid’s future will once again turn down any prospect of him leaving the club.

He said: “I’m very calm because I have a contract until June 2027 and I CAN’T WAIT to renew it. Real Madrid is the best place to be. I play with the best. I’m very happy”.

Vinicius remains one of the most important players, having played an instrumental role in helping the Los Blancos win two Champions League titles and scoring in both finals.

It was thought that Kylian Mbappe’s arrival would reduce the Brazilian’s importance, but he continues to be a key player alongside the Frenchman and Rodrygo.

With his recent remarks on his future at the club, fans and the Madrid club’s hierarchy will be relaxed as they know he has two years on his contract and will hopefully extend his stay at the club and create more history with them.

Vinicius will return to action when Real Madrid host Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 tomorrow.
