The Brazilian has been in talks to extend his deal with Los Blancos.
According to the Sport, Vinicius Jr.’s new Real Madrid deal is anticipated to include an exit clause. This clause will provide the opportunity to depart, possibly to Saudi Arabia.
Vinicius Jr, a forward for Real Madrid, is often in the news, but the story that has surfaced most frequently has been the links to Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian was reportedly present in a February meeting with Saudi officials, despite his assurances that he plans to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu for many years to come.
Since last summer, the Middle Eastern powerhouses have been after Vinicius, offering the 24-year-old even a €1 billion contract.
According to reports, Vinicius has been eager for a pay increase at Real Madrid, one that would significantly increase his income potential compared to Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.
The most recent report stated that Los Blancos had reached out to Vinicius to learn about his wants and would start negotiations again at the end of the season.
However now it has been claimed that both parties have reached a deal, and President Florentino Perez made it very plain to Vinicius that he will not be altering his wage structure. According to them, Vinicius will get a pay increase, but not enough to put him well ahead of Mbappe.
An agreement is nearing, and it will be made public after the season is over. However, a unique condition is being explored, according to which Real Madrid will put an exit clause in the Brazilian’s new deal, which will benefit the Middle Eastern Clubs.
Vinicius has made his feelings clear in many interviews that he wants to remain at the Spanish club and make more history. It’s just a matter of time before he renews his deal with them.
Vini Jr. has kept up his impressive play for Real Madrid. The 24-year-old has made 39 appearances for Los Blancos this season, contributing 18 goals and 11 assists.
