The Brazilian could leave the Los Blancos.

According to reports, Vinícius Jr, the Brazilian star of Real Madrid, has decided not to sign a new contract extension with the club.

A startling transfer rumour concerning the 24-year-old player surfaced from Spain. Vinícius, who is regarded as one of the best football players of the past few years, has been in the news lately due to some significant changes following his dismal performance in past matches.

According to reports, the athlete, who has won multiple awards while wearing the Real Madrid uniform, is not open to propositions for a contract extension.

The Saudi side Al-Hilal have expressed interest in Vini Jr. and are reportedly preparing a $327 million bid to sign him, according to the Spanish publication Fichajes.

The 24-year-old may be wearing a different team’s jersey next season, though it is unclear how Real Madrid’s management will react to such a big offer.

Vinícius has participated in 279 official games while wearing the Merengue jersey, tallying 91 goals and dishing out 82 assists.

A few hours prior to the event, it was widely reported that the Brazilian had not won football’s top individual honour, despite being the clear favourite to do so. Despite winning the team prize and Carlo Ancelotti receiving the men’s coaching honour, Real Madrid immediately cried disrespect and boycotted the entire ceremony.

Vinicius Jr was “sad” about the Ballon d’Or snub

The 2022 Ballon d’Or winner and former Madrid captain Karim Benzema said he had spoken to Vinicius and called the winger “sad” about the seeming rejection.

There are suddenly rumours that he might think about a future somewhere else as if the outcry over not winning an individual prize wasn’t already overwhelming enough.

President Florentino Perez, who is growing more worried about the possibility of losing the Brazilian, is at odds with Vinicius because he is “open” to extending his career outside of Spain.

Although the strong spotlight has a negative impact on whomever it shines on, the 24-year-old is fulfilling his sporting ambitions and “does not know what more he can do” to stand out following a career-best year.
