The Brazilian star player was furious after he was removed mid-game.
After being substituted in the 72nd minute of Sunday’s El Clásico, Vinicius Jr. was furious and has threatened to leave Real Madrid.
Rodrygo replaced Vinicius Jr in the 72nd minute of yesterday’s Clásico. The winger for Real Madrid lost his temper with his coach, Xabi Alonso. The Brazilian international even vowed to leave Los Blancos in rage!
In the 72nd minute of El Clásico, Vinícius Jr was substituted, causing a dramatic scene at the Santiago Bernabéu. As he walked off the field, the Brazilian made it obvious that he was upset by Xabi Alonso’s choice by swinging his arms and yelling angry remarks. Instead of sitting on the bench, he walked straight down the tunnel and avoided making eye contact with his coach.
Sebas Parrilla, the assistant coach, attempted to reassure the striker and urged him to go back and help his teammates, but Vinícius Jr was still clearly agitated.

He did return to the bench a few minutes later. Vini, who was still upset at being removed, made a halting gesture in response to Rodrygo, who came in, reaching out a hand to his countryman.
“Me? Coach? Me? I’m always the one!.” The Brazilian said, “I’m leaving the team, it’s better if I go,” as he walked off the field. DAZN cameras caught him saying several expletive words on his approach to the dressing room.
Vinícius had been an important offensive danger for Real Madrid before his substitution. In the build-up to the team’s second goal, he completed his fifth of six dribbles and beat Jules Koundé down on the left before finding Éder Militão, who subsequently assisted Jude Bellingham.
The coach and player’s tension is rekindled by this substitution scene occurrence. There were speculations of a tense relationship between them earlier in the season as Vinícius was substituted in two of the first five games, including their UEFA Champions League opener.
The Brazilian’s tantrum adds another level of internal turmoil that Xabi Alonso will need to carefully handle to keep the peace in the locker room as Real Madrid fight to stay atop LaLiga.
