Bipin scored the second goal for his side against Mohun Bagan Super Giant
The ISL 2023-24 season finally found its home with Mumbai City FC beating League Shield Winners Mohun Bagan Super Giant in the final at the Mecca of Indian Football.
Jorge Pereyra Diaz scored the equaliser and Jakub Vojtus put the game to bed, but it was the โMan of Finalsโ Bipin Singh who stole the spotlight in that final again. This has been the story for Mumbai City FC so far, the Islanders have raised the bar by winning the title with Indian players on the steering wheel.
Bipin Singh has scored the winner before as well against the Mariners in the ISL 2020-21 final and the Shield-decider game that season.
In a recent social media post by Mumbai City FCโs official account, the Mumbai City FC player recalled the goal he scored in the final in a dramatic fashion where he dreamt of scoring such an important one and woke up next to the ISL trophy.
Before Bipinโs goal, the game was in balance and up for the grab but the Blonde hair winger silenced the Salt Lake Stadium with a composed finish in an open net. This is their second league trophy after the domestic double in the ISL 2020-21 season.
