Ronaldo once again produced moments of brilliance.

In Al-Nassr’s 4-1 victory over Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo scored an incredible overhead kick that brought back nostalgia.

In the 96th minute of added time at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, the 40-year-old leapt in the centre of the penalty area to receive a cross from right-wing Nawaf Boushal.

Cristiano Ronaldo was well-positioned, and it was the pinpoint cross from Boushal, and the star also made a timely attempt to meet the ball before sending it past the goalkeeper.

When the ball went beyond Al-Khaleeja’s goalkeeper, fans and Ronaldo’s teammates stood in disbelief as the forward once again scored one of the best goals of his career.

However, this isn’t the first time Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a bicycle kick goal in the past; he has netted similar goals while playing for Portugal and other clubs.

This bicycle kick comes just days after Scott McTominay’s similar strike for Scotland, who many now consider to be one of the best of all time.

Ronaldo scores a similar overhead kick goal

Ronaldo recently returned from playing for Portugal, where he was sent off against Ireland but enjoyed his nation’s World Cup qualification. But he did not let this affect his league form for Al Nassr.

Reminiscent of his bicycle kick for Real Madrid against Juventus in the 2018 Champions League quarterfinal, it marked Cristiano Ronaldo’s 954th career goal.

Al-Nassr lead the Saudi league standings by four points thanks to the victory.

Since moving to Saudi Arabia in 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has not taken home a major trophy.

He is now set to make a record-breaking sixth World Cup appearance if he gets called up to the squad next year. However, for now, he will be looking to lead Al-Nassr to a trophy this season as he is yet to win a major piece with the Saudi club.
