Europe’s top club football competition has announced its two finalists for the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League season, which is coming to a close.

The 2024–25 Champions League final between Inter Milan and PSG is scheduled for May 31st at the Allianz Arena, Munich.

PSG will attempt to add the coveted crown for the first time in the club’s history, while Inter will aim to capture their fourth UCL championship.

The Parisians will face Simone Inzaghi’s Inter, who qualified after defeating Barcelona 7–6 overall, consisting of a 3–3 tie in Montjuic and a 4–3 victory in extra time in San Siro.

PSG beat Arsenal away from home 1-0 and also handed them elimination in the second round, 2-1, defeating them 3-1 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, the Barcelona and Inter match was for the record books as it saw a goal-galore contest in both legs. The first leg in Spain witnessed both sides hold to a 3-3 draw.

During the normal time, the match ended in a 3-3 draw in the second leg. In extra time Inter managed to put themselves ahead and secure the place in the final, beating the Catalan club 7-3 on aggregate.

Where will the 2024-25 Champions League final be held between Inter Milan and PSG?

The Allianz Arena in Munich will host the 2025 final on May 31, and the two teams will be playing each other in the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Both teams’ path to the final has been impressive to watch, but the French club overcame many top sides to book their place in the final.

It will be Inter’s second appearance in the Champions League final in three years. They previously made it to the final in 2022–2023 before losing 1-0 to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

After losing to Bayern Munich 1-0 in the Champions League final in Lisbon in 2020, this is only the second time in PSG’s history that they have advanced to the final.
