Which manager has won most trophies with Real Madrid?

Ancelotti added another silverware after Madrid won the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2024 final.
Following Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory against Pachuca in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2024 final on Wednesday, Carlo Ancelotti became the club’s most successful manager with 15 championships in Los Blancos history.
Ancelotti has won three Champions League medals, two LaLiga crowns, two Copa del Reys, two Spanish Supercopas, three UEFA Super Cups, two Club World Cups, and now the Intercontinental Cup throughout his two stints as manager of Real Madrid, from 2013 to 2015 and starting in 2021.
The previous mark had been set by Miguel Muñoz, the renowned coach of Real Madrid, who won two European Cups, nine league titles, two Copas del Rey, and one Intercontinental Cup during his 14 years in command from 1960 to 1974.
When Madrid defeated Atalanta 2-0 to win the UEFA Super Cup in August, Ancelotti tied Muñoz’s record. When Madrid participate in the Spanish Supercopa in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in January, he will have the opportunity to add more to his collection of trophies with the Spanish giants.
On January 9, they will take on Mallorca in the semifinals, and three days later, they could be playing (if they beat Mallorca) either Barcelona or Athletic Club in the final.
Ancelotti was fired in May 2015 following a less prosperous second season after joining Madrid in June 2013 and winning the Champions League in his debut season.
Following an unexpected comeback to the team in June 2021 he won two LaLiga and Champions League doubles, in 2022 and 2024. After nearly 30 years as a coach, the seasoned Italian has a number of silverware.
With Real Madrid in Spain, AC Milan in Italy, Bayern Munich in Germany, Chelsea in England, and Paris Saint-Germain in France, he is the sole manager to have claimed a league championship in each of Europe’s “big five leagues.”
Ancelotti is also the only head coach to have five titles in addition to winning the Champions League twice while coaching AC Milan in 2003 and 2007.
