Who is Manchester United's youngest-ever Premier League starter?

The teenager is 17 years old and started for the Red Devils.
Chido Obi has created history, becoming the youngest ever Manchester United debutant after manager Ruben Amorim named him in the starting lineup to face Brentford.
Obi, a young forward who is only 17 years old, has been named in a top-flight starting lineup. The teenager has created much hype ever since his move to United and has been seen as the club’s future prodigy.
Chido Obi has only played 60 minutes in the Premier League so far. All five of his outings have been as a substitute. He is regarded as a promising young player at Old Trafford and a potential superstar.
Chido Obi, 17, made his debut as a starter in the Premier League as the Red Devils’ youngest player ever. The striker, who is 17 and 156 days old, surpasses Mason Greenwood’s May 2019 record.
Greenwood was 67 days older than Obi when he participated in the 2-0 loss to Cardiff City. Amorim defended his choice to start the teenager and stated that he does not wish to put him under any pressure.
He said, “I think we need to focus a lot on our young players. For me, it’s not a massive game for Chido.
“I know that it’s important for Chido, but I don’t want a lot of pressure on Chido, I just want him to do what he knows. He played really well in those minutes against Wolverhampton.
“He’s improving a lot, and then Newcastle, the rotation. I feel that he’s ready to cope with the demands of the Premier League.
With an average age of under 22 years and 270 days, Amorim’s starting lineup against Brentford is the youngest the Red Devils have ever selected in Premier League history. Since 1992, it is also the third youngest to be named by any side.
United, who now rank 14th in the Premier League standings, need their future stars to start producing now. With one eye on the team’s quest for European triumph in 2025, they have a significant lead in their Europa League semi-final matchup with Athletic Club.
