Ronaldo laughed after he was told Messi is better than him.
Cristiano Ronaldo once again reignited the GOAT debate between him and Lionel Messi in the latest clip from his YouTube collab with MrBeast.
MrBeast recently worked with Ronaldo, who started his YouTube channel earlier this year. The world’s most followed YouTuber, Beast, was heard yelling, “Nolan says he doesn’t like you, he thinks you’re not the GOAT,” while pointing to one of his friends in the new video that Ronaldo shared. “Nolan is the guy on the end over there, and he believes Messi is better,” he went on. Messi is the greatest of all time, he remarked, calling it soccer.
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United player responded by asking, “Who said Messi’s better than me?” before erupting into laughter.
The two greatest football players are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Over the years, they have shared an iconic rivalry and have frequently been compared and placed against one another. The rivalry between the two is still very much alive today, even as they approach the end of their careers.
Cristiano’s rivalry with Messi and his claim to be the best player over the Argentine icon were already made public by a number of his former colleagues. Football fans around are not surprised by the Portuguese captain’s recent remark because they most expected him to keep that old rivalry dear to his heart.
Is Cristiano Ronaldo retiring soon?
However, he doesn’t care anymore as he is now past his prime and could announce his retirement from the sport in the coming years given the forward will turn 40 next year.
“It is not important anymore whether I am the best or not, I no longer care about that,” Ronaldo had said in a press conference.
Meanwhile, Messi is also in the same period and will be considering his retirement soon as the player has achieved everything in his playing career and it will be the saddest day in sports history when two of the greatest of all time hang their boots.
