The Portuguese star didn’t play in Al Nassr’s last match

This Friday’s match between league leaders Al Ittihad and third-place Al Nassr in Jeddah will intensify the Saudi Pro League title race.

Al Ittihad have won all six of their previous games and scored an incredible 19 goals in that span, making them invincible at home. Prior to this match, they solidified their domination with a 4-0 thumping of Al-Ettifaq.

Al Nassr, on the other hand, has won 2-0 over Damac FC and are still undefeated after three games, before losing to Al Sadd in the AFC Champions League. Their strong road record—four victories and two draws in the league—demonstrates that, in contrast to their opponents, they are accustomed to handling a boisterous away crowd.

Cristiano Ronaldo who didn’t play in Al Nassr’s last game was rested and will be fully recovered to play in this crucial match which could also decide their standing in the table.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight?

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to return for Al Nassr’s final game of the year on Friday, December 6, against Al Ittihad. Despite being 39 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo continued to score goals for Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia during the 2023–2024 season.

A month after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Ronaldo decided to close out his incredible European career by moving to the Middle East. However, his move has not been fruitful as the striker has failed to get his hands on the major silverware so far.

The former Real Madrid player is yet to lead Al Nassr to the Saudi league title and AFC Champions League elite. Ronaldo knows he is reaching the age where he could have to call his career and is yet to win something significant with the Middle Eastern team.

However, for now, he will be fit enough to play in the most important game of the last year as Al Nassr will travel to face Al Ittihad, who are top of the table and eight points above Ronaldo’s side.
