Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight for Al-Nassr vs Al-Ahli in Saudi Pro League?

The hosts know a win can get them level on points with the Knights of Najd.
At the start of the season, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr had surely set their sights on the Saudi Pro League title. But as the season progressed they now seem to be more of an outsider than an out-and-out side vying for the honours. This is all one can say when looking at the points table as they lurk in the third spot.
But in all honesty, they have done their bit. What can one even do when there are sides who can dominate almost every individual outing? Here we are talking about Al Hilal and Al Ittihad, who are proving to be too much at the moment for the Knights of Najd.
Stefano Pioli’s men however aren’t much far behind. They are six points below Al Hilal and eight below Al Ittihad at the time of writing. Still good eh? Maybe, maybe not. It all depends if they can pull themselves up again, amidst the title race.
Meanwhile, Al-Nassr are on an amazing run. They have five back-to-back wins in all competitions. Pioli and Co. will look to keep this run intact when they play as the away side in the league clash at the King Abdullah Sports City against Al Ahli.
Will Cristiano Ronaldo play for Al-Nassr against Al Ahli tonight?
Cristiano Ronaldo may have turned 40 at the start of the month but his desire to play remains the same. He still wants to play in every game possible. Even though at his age many superstar players may have called it a day, this man from Madeira still thrives for more. With a low-key wish to achieve 1,000 career goals, Ronaldo is rightfully on track with his purpose, and shouldn’t be taking things casually hereon.
In all those five consecutive wins, Ronaldo’s name has been a constant on the scoresheet. Karim Benzema and others are chasing the Portuguese superstar in a fight for the SPL Golden Boot. As much as the world knows Ronaldo, one thing he loves is scoring goals. He will surely want his boots to do the talking and stay in the lead for the Golden Boot. Expect him to be named in the starting XI against a competent side like Al Ahli.
