As the seasoned forward gets closer to making a comeback for Al Nassr ahead of their pivotal Saudi Pro League match against Al Najma, the focus firmly returns to Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese legend seems prepared to return after being sidelined for almost a month, providing a much-needed boost for a team aiming for domestic success.
The Portugal star missed international friendlies in the March window after pulling his hamstring during Al Nassr’s 1-3 defeat to Al Fayha in February.
Jorge Jesus, Nassr’s head coach, revealed that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will be back in the matchday squad before Friday’s game against Al Najma.
With eight matches remaining, Al-Nassr lead the Saudi Pro League standings with 67 points from 26 games. Ronaldo is aiming for his first league championship in Saudi Arabia, and Nassr will try to maintain the advantage.
