The Knights of Najd are on a four-match winning streak in all competitions.
Since the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr are yet to win the Saudi Pro League. The superstar was supposed to be the cheat code to success in the division. Nevertheless, other squads also signed world-class players, making the competition more competitive than ever.
With all the eyes still on Al-Nassr, we see them lagging behind in the 2024-25 Saudi Pro League title race. They are currently third in the overall standings. After 27 outings, they have managed to win 17 games, draw six, and lose just four.
With an eight-point lead over the Knights of Najd, Al-Ittihad are leading the charts. Al Hilal, who happen to be the highest scoring side in the division, are in second spot with 61 points.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. are on a four-match winning streak in all competitions ahead of their league encounter with Al-Qadsiah. They will be looking to continue being on that and extend their streak. But will the star, Ronaldo, himself feature in the game tonight?
Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight?
The Portuguese superstar played in the team’s last league game, which was against Al-Riyadh. It was his brace that helped Al-Nassr earn all three points in the home fixture. The game had finished 2-1.
There was no injury or fitness issue in that game for CR7, nor was anything reported after the game. Moreover, this upcoming game is happening after six days of break, which surely gave the megastar enough time to recover. The player was also pictured travelling for the Al-Qadsiah game.
Everything seems positive. So the striker should play the game and start as usual. Ronaldo is currently on 23 goals in the league, and is trying to run away with the Golden Boot. His nearest competitor is on 19 goals (Abderrazak Hamdallah).
Cristiano Ronaldo is on a scoring streak. The player has scored at least one goal in each of the last five games across all competitions for Al-Nassr. He will surely look to continue on that and grow his tally of 933 career goals.
