A massive 20 points separate both sides in the league standings.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr will be in action yet again. This time, they will play in a Saudi Pro League game against Al-Riyadh. The Knights of Najd are in the third position in the league standings.

They have accumulated 54 points in 26 league games. In those outings, the Riyadh team won 16 games, drew six, and lost four. Their upcoming opponents are in the ninth position.

Al-Riyadh have 34 points. They have played the same number of Saudi league games as the hosts. They come into this game on the back of nine wins, seven draws, and 10 defeats.

The Knights of Najd are on an amazing run. In their last three outings across all competitions, they have seen nothing but victories. Moreover, in all of those games, the team managed to score three goals each.

The first game was against Esteghlal in AFC Champions League Elite‘s Round of 16 second-leg (3-0). The next two followed in league against: Al Kholood (3-1) and Al-Hilal (3-1).

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight?

Cristiano Ronaldo played a big role in the 3-1 victory over Al Hilal last time out. As we all know the Blue Waves are one of the strongest teams in the division. The game could have gone in anyone’s way.

However, the 40 year old Portuguese sensation had a plan of his own. He scored an important brace to earn his side all three points and bragging rights. That game was his fourth consecutive one for the team where he scored at least a goal.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight? More than likely. Last game Al-Nassr played was on 4 April. Today’s game is happening on 12 April. That’s enough time for the recuperation of any player. In this particular player’s case, even though he is 40, he is a world class athlete known for superman fitness levels.

Expect the Portugal national team player to be starting the game. Ronaldo will want to increase his league tally of 21 goals as Al Shabab player Abderrazak Hamdallah is lurking right behind him with 19 goals (in second place at the moment).
