Al-Nassr will play their last group game in the competition.
Asian football fans can expect an exciting matchup between Persepolis F.C. Tehran and Al Nassr on Matchday 8 of the AFC Champions League. With a team full of international quality, the Saudi team hopes to establish their superiority in a difficult setting and cement their tournament path.
Al Nassr, headed by Cristiano Ronaldo and coached by Stefano Pioli, comes with the pressure to win important points, while Persepolis will try to take advantage of their home field and possibly surprise one of the tournament’s favourites.
However, given the form Al-Nassr are in it will be challenging for the hosts to beat the Saudi side as Al-Nassr will aim to end their final round of the AFC Champions League Elite group stage game with a win.
Al-Nassr’s start to the year has been impressive as they are unbeaten so far in all competitions in 2025 and will hope to sustain their winning form when they visit Persepolis.
With the addition of Jhon Duran the club has looked more threatening side in the attack as some of the goalscoring responsibility has been taken off Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, the Portuguese still remain the top scorer of the club and in Saudi League. Today he will be expecting to add more goals to his already excellent tally.
Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight?
