Kylian Mbappe’s France are the top-ranked country in Europe and the second-ranked country globally after Argentina, the 2022 World Cup winners.
Les Bleus manager Didier Deschamps has been in charge for over 13 years, winning 105 of his 165 games (63.64%), but the 56-year-old has announced that he will be leaving the position following the 2026 World Cup.

Despite failing to defeat Croatia in the previous Nations League group stage. France defeated the Checkered Ones twice in the 2020 competition, including 2-1 on the road in Zagreb. They had previously won the 2018 World Cup final in Russia, defeating Croatia 4–2.

France are one of the favourites in this competition given the quality squad they possess and one of the big names Kylian Mbappe, will hope to lead their nation into the next round.
Kylian Mbappe should be in the lineup to play tonight when they face Croatia as France will look to book their place in the semi-final of the tournament. However, the forward had a quiet tournament given he wasn’t at his best and was not picked in the last two international breaks.
The Real Madrid star will be hoping to make amends tonight as he is currently enjoying excellent form given he has scored over 31 goals for Los Blancos already in all competitions.
