Will Neymar play tonight for Al Hilal vs Al Sadd in AFC Champions League Elite 2024-25?

Al Hilal will hope to recover from their defeat in the league match.

Al Hilal are well on the road to guaranteeing a place in the quarterfinals with their four AFC Champions League Elite victories thus far. Although Al Hilal are enjoying yet another fantastic season overall, they just lost this weekend for the first time in the Saudi Pro League and for the first time this season overall.

Aleksandar Mitrovic is among the leading scorers in the AFC Champions League Elite, having scored four goals in four games. He has been Al Hilal’s most important player this term and the opposition will be keeping an eye on him because he has 13 goals this season, making him the top scorer in the Saudi Pro League.

However, fans will hope for more star players to take on the pitch for Al Hilal. One of the names will be Neymar whose presence will attract more fans to the game. However, It is unlikely that the Brazilian will be available for the game as Al Hilal will push to occupy the first spot in Group B.

Will Neymar play tonight?

Neymar is not going to play for the Saudi club in the AFC Champions League as the forward has once again suffered another setback since his return from the ACL injury.

The player featured in Al Hilal’s fourth game (his second) in the competition but was replaced after he limped off. The scans revealed he had torn his hamstring and he could be out for a month.

Due to multiple injuries, Neymar has missed most of his time at Al-Hilal, making his time in Saudi Arabia a misery. Before rupturing his ACL while playing for his country in October 2023, the Brazilian played in just five games during his first season in the Saudi Pro League. After a year, he made a comeback, but yet another injury setback will keep him out of action.

There are rumours that Al-Hilal are thinking of ending the superstar’s deal early, leaving Neymar with no certain future in Saudi Arabia.
