Will Neymar play tonight for Santos vs Novorizontino in Campeonato Paulista?

The 33-year-old made his debut in Santos’ previous match.
When Neymar appeared near the touchline the entire stadium stood up and cheered for the forward as the Brazilian made his way onto the pitch. It was an emotional return for Neymar who left the club nearly 12 years ago to achieve big dreams in Europe.
But now the forward is back. The fans and the team will be hoping that his addition will bring a different dimension and turn them into a great attacking team.
However, Santos’ performance in the Campeonato Paulista has not been convincing as they have only won twice so far in the tournament. They are third in Group B of the competition with eight points. They have played seven matches, winning and drawing twice and losing thrice in the tournament.
Santos will next face Novorizontino tonight and will hope to secure all three points in this game as they will need to win more matches in order to take the top spot.
If they want to be at the top of the table they will have to punch above their weight. They will also hope that the return of Neymar will add extra flair to the attack.
Will Neymar play tonight?
Given that Neymar appeared as a substitute in their previous match he might once again be used as a sub as he is still not at his peak fitness level.
Neymar will certainly play tonight but the staff will be cautious with him as he has returned from another injury, hence they could once again use the 33-year-old as a substitute in the match in order to build his fitness slowly.
Neymar’s debut game indicated that he is still top of his game as there were some moments of genius that the former Barcelona man can still produce. He will once again look to make an impact in the match and lead Santos to win this encounter.
