Wolves have been home to many top attacking stars in their history.

Wolves have had relative success when compared to other Premier League clubs, but they have also won every domestic cup competition and Premier League. However, their last win came in the league back in 1958–59, since then the club has struggled to win the league. But over the decades they have produced many talented stars who have gone on to etch their names in the club’s history.

With this, we take a look at the players with the most Premier League goals scored for Wolves in the competition’s history.

5. Hwang Hee-chan (21)

With 22 goals in 107 Premier League games, Hwang is currently the fifth-highest scorer in Wolves’ history in the league. He became part of Wolverhampton Wanderers on a season-long loan, but, thanks to his achievement, the team decided to extend his loan agreement. On July 1, 2022, the loan’s expiration date, the club stated that they had activated an agreement that would allow him to join the team permanently, signing a contract until 2026 and since then he has continued to be a crucial part of games.

4. Ruben Neves (21)

At the age of 17, Neves earned his first-team debut after beginning his career with Porto and his exploits for them saw him earn a move to Wolves. They reportedly paid £15.8 million to join Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2017. He won the EFL Championship in his debut season, made 253 appearances, and scored 21 goals for them in the Premier League, after becoming their most established player he made a switch to a Saudi club and signed a reported £47 million contract with Al-Hilal in 2023.

3. Steven Fletcher (22)

Soon after, Fletcher was sold to Wolverhampton Wanderers for a club-record £6.5 million. He instantly found his feet there and in 68 games, he scored 22 goals for Wolves in the Premier League, ranking third in the team’s history. However, the attacker left for Sunderland when Wolves were demoted from the Premier League in 2012.

2. Matheus Cunha (23)

Cunha joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan on January 1, 2023, for the duration of the 2022–2023 campaign. The agreement stated that the move would become official in the summer of 2023, provided that specific conditions in the loan agreement were fulfilled. However, he took time to settle in the club but gained his rhythm back and since then, he has emerged as a key player, and the forward is blazing this season. In Premier League history, he also happens to be their second-highest goal scorer.

1. Raúl Jiménez (40)

Raúl Jiménez’s move to Wolves paid impressively when he joined the club in 2019 and became the most integral part of the club carrying their attacking line on his shoulder. Jiménez scored the equalizing goal to mark his competitive debut for Wolves. He continued to score goals, becoming the team’s highest-scoring player in Premier League history with 40 goals before departing for Fulham in 2023.
