Wolves vs Chelsea Predicted lineup, betting tips, odds, injury news, H2H, telecast | Premier League 2024-25
Both these teams suffered a loss on the opening weekend.
The Gunners deservedly defeated Wolves in the opening weekend as they pointed a statement to the rest of the teams for a title charge this season. Gary O’Neil knew his side needed to be more clinical and started to shift the momentum to their side after putting good pressure on the opponents.
Wolves will be confident for this challenge against Chelsea after coming victorious against them for three straight wins. Despite finishing 14th in the league last term, they still looked the better side against them in the previous three matches.
Chelsea are in a mess at the moment after a lot of noise from the fans and former players who are in disbelief with the way things are being run by Todd Boehly. Their treatment of Conor Gallagher and the exile of other key players from the squad have outraged the fans who were quick to know their feelings.
Also, the poor form from the Blues after losing the opening match to Manchester City and a goalless draw against Servette in the playoff saw fans booing the players at halftime. Hopefully, Enzo Maresca will be given time with the team as he has the potential to guide them again at the top.

Players to Watch
Matheus Cunha (Wolves)
The Brazilian international had an outstanding campaign last term and even managed to pull off a shock win over the Blues after scoring a sensational hattrick to silence Stamford Bridge. Last season, he scored an impressive 14 goals and provided eight assists to achieve his career-best campaign. With Jorgen Strand Larsen signed to play as a lone striker, Cunha can create havoc in the Blues backline with his fantastic movements and linkup play.
Christopher Nkunku (Chelsea)
The French international endured an injury-ridden season last term after signing for the club with a lot of promise. Nkunku was coming on the back of a successful campaign at RB Leipzig where he scored an impressive 23 goals and played off another seven assists. Hopefully this season, we get to witness the best of Nkunku after a strong pre-season. He also opened hi account for the new season with a penalty goal against Servette and will aim to play a crucial role in this game.
