Lamine Yamal is the name which has caught the eye of many people all over the world. He plays for Barcelona and the Spain national football team. Yamal broke down the record set by Pele and became the youngest player ever to win an international final when he lifted the UEFA Euro 2024 title with Spain.

Lamine Yamal was just 17 years and 2 days old when he achieved the feat. He scored a sensational match-winning goal against France in the semi-final of the European tournament.

1. Gilberto Mora (16 years, 265 days old)

Gilberto Mora was a part of the Mexico national football team, which clinched the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup title by beating the USA in the final. He surpassed Lamine Yamal and became the youngest player to ever play in an international final and to win it.

Mora started for Mexico and played for a total of 75 minutes before he was subbed off. The 16-year-old came up with top performances throughout the tournament. He plays for the Liga MX team Club Tijuana.
