Where and how to watch F1 2023 Australian GP in India?
Fernando Alonso has rolled back the years with his back-to-back podium finishes.
Formula 1's travelling circus ventures to the down under for this season's third race. The Australian GP takes place over the racing weekend on the exciting racing track of the Melbourne Circuit.
We have learned from the first two races from the middle-east that both Red Bull and Aston Martin has successfully emerged as the front runners early on in this calendar. Ferrari and Mercedes, however, have left their fans with their expectations remaining unfulfilled.
The question is simple- Can the top three drivers maintain their dominant hierarchy for a third straight race? Fernando Alonso has rolled back the years with his back-to-back podiums in years. Not to forget about Alonso's Aston Martin teammate Lance Stroll, who had a remarkable drive with a broken hand at Bahrain GP. An unfortunate retirement at Saudi Arabian GP deprived him of points, but the Canadian driver will be hell-bent on producing maximum for himself and his team with his drive.
Christian Horner will only hope to turn a corner with Red Bull, as the team had continuously struggled to produce results in Australia, even when they were Formula 1's top dogs. In 2011, Sebastian Vettel brought the RB7 to victory, but Max Verstappen has yet to impress with his craft in Melbourne. Last season Sergio Pérez secured second place, but a rare win will bolster the outfit's chances of ensuring that their machinery is fit for any circumstances.
Elsewhere Mercedes is on equal points in the Constructors' championship with Aston Martin, so a good performance from their British duo of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton would ensure that they keep up with the competition until their upgrades are ready for installation.
Both Alpha Tauri and McLaren are yet to put points on the board. They have excellent young and capable drivers. In reality, the teams are mainly struggling with luck and the subpar performances of their cars.
