F1 Austrian GP 2024: Updated schedule and timings

The upcoming weekend race is going to be the third sprint weekend of the year.
This weekend, Formula 1 heads to Spielberg for the 11th round of the 2024 season, as the Red Bull Ring once again plays host to the F1 Austrian GP 2024. Traditionally a key fixture on the calendar, the race was dropped ahead of the 2004 season but made a celebrated return in 2014 after Red Bull acquired the circuit and reached an agreement with Bernie Ecclestone.
The Red Bull Ring, at 4.318 km, is one of the shorter tracks on the F1 calendar. Originally opened in 1969 as the Osterreichring, the track underwent significant redesigns in 1995 and 1996 under the guidance of Hermann Tilke.
The transformation led to the formation of a circuit consisting of three straights with up-hill right handers in the first section, which is then followed by a downhill stretch that joins back into a series of fast corners.
As we look back at the previous races that have been held on this circuit, Max Verstappen has managed to dominate at this circuit, winning four of the last three races held here. His recent form makes him a favourite for victory once again. However, Lando Norris, driving an upgraded McLaren, has been giving Verstappen stiff competition in recent races, promising another nail-biting weekend.
