BGIS 2023 'The Grind': Round 3 qualified teams, Schedule, telecast

A total of 64 teams qualified for the round 3.

The Round 2 of the Battleground Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023: The Grind came to an end with a total of 64 teams qualifying for Round 3. 

BGIS: The Grind is the official qualification event for the Invited teams before the start of the main event BGIS 2023. A total of 128 teams participated in the two-week-long event out of which 64 qualified for the next round. This event gives a chance to the new teams to participate in the mega event. The rest of the 128 teams who unfortunately didn’t qualify will fight in the In-Game Qualifiers of BGMI India Series 2023.

During the final stage of The Grind tournament, each group will participate in six games. The top eight teams from each group will earn a spot in Round 3 of the BGIS main event. Teams ranked 9th to 16th in each group will progress to Round 2 of the India Series. 

This resulted in a total of 64 teams, out of the 256 originally invited to The Grind, securing their positions in the 2023 Battleground Mobile India Series (BGIS).

The list includes many legendary and veteran teams like Team GodLike, Velocity, Medal, Soul, Blind, and more while many fan-loved teams like Global Esports, Entity Gaming, and 8Bit failed to qualify. Teams like Mayavi and others are all set to break out the esports scene with their magnificent performances. Their earlier round performances have been witness to such prophecy. 

BGIS: The Grind and main event Schedule 

The final round is scheduled to take place from August 17th – August 20th, 2023. The 32 teams from Week 3 and 32 teams will compete in a Round-Robin format for the Grand Final. This will be followed by the start of the BGIS-Main event Round 1 in August 2023.

Where to watch

The BGIS tournament will be streamed live on Jio Cinema from October 12 to 14 at 1 PM.
