BGMI Masters Series Season 2: Qualified Teams for Super Weekend 1, Match Report

16 Teams qualified for the Super Weekend 1 of the tournament.
The first week of BGMI Masters Series 2 League has wrapped up, featuring intense matches that kept us on the edge of our seats while unveiling the top 16 teams set to compete in Super Weekend.
Team Chemin maintained its top spot with a massive total of 110 points in the overall leaderboard. Surprisingly, well-known teams such as Godlike and Revenant fell short of securing a spot in the Super Weekend qualifiers.
Team Xpark secured their spot for the Super Weekend with the first match win. Blind Esports emerged victorious in the second match whereas the third match title of ‘WWCD’ was clinched by Global Esports.
Match 1-Group B vs. C – Erangel
The initial “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” match was claimed by Team Xpark, amassing a total of 27 Match Points. The team Spy earned a total of 19 match points and 12 finish points. The fan-most loved teams Entity and Revenant had a disappointing start to the day.
Match 2-Group A vs. C – Sanhok
Blind Esports won the Sanhok match earning a total of 36 points and attaining their qualification cut-off. While the OR Esports gave them a challenging victory and yet claimed a total of 16 points. Revenant had their slight comeback earning 12 points whereas star team Godlike still struggled in the Sanhok.
Match 3- Group A vs. C – Erangel
The young squad of Global Esport asserted a nail-biting victory in the match defying the odds against Godlike. Godlike tried to have their comeback moment with eyes set to qualify for the Super Weekend1. But things didn’t go as well as they predicted.
Top 16 Qualified Teams for Super Weekend 1 of BGMI Masters Series
The final day gave the 16 qualified names to play for Super Weekend 1.

- Numen Esports – 99 points
- OR Esports – 99 points
- Global Esports – 83 points
- Marcos Gaming – 83 points
- Soul Esports – 74 points
- Team 8Bit – 73 points
- God’s Reign – 73 points
- Team X spark – 72 points
- Enigma Gaming – 65 points
- Team Insane – 64 points
- Orangutan Esports – 60 points
- OneBlade – 59 points
- Gladiators Esports – 59 points
- Medal Esports – 56 points
Team Insane has shed their underdog status with their consistency and amazing performances. The League Week 1 was completely dominated by the team Chemin. With quite ups and downs star team Soul found their place in the qualification list.
The week was filled with exciting and intense battles, featuring comebacks and the rise of new teams. Yet, it was also marked by the disappointment of legendary teams.
Super Weekend 1 is scheduled from 11th to 13th August 2023. During these three days, the 16 qualified teams will compete. Based on the cumulative leaderboard performance, the leading 4 teams from the Week 1 Finals will secure a direct spot in the Week 2 Finals. However, these teams will still participate in the Week 2 League despite their direct qualification.
