All features removed from Football Manager 25

Football Manager 2025 release delayed

The fans are excited about the new upcoming Football Manager 25 game, which is going to be released in November. The studio boss Miles Jacobson commented that they were facing challenges and difficulties with the new game engine. 

The new game will have many new features that were not available in Football Manager 24, and some updates that have also been removed in this version. Let’s talk about more details in this article.

Football Manager 2025 has added many features to this game while also removing many things if we compare it to Football Manager 2024.

First and foremost International Management will not be available in the new game. The makers and developers have found many challenges and have decided to remove this feature.

There is also a list of features that are not in Football Manager 25:

• Touchline Shouts
• Social Media Screens
• Data Chalkboard
• Creat-A-Club
• Versus Mode
• Challenge Mode
• Fantasy Draft

A newly improved User Interface will be present this time which looks clean. This will help you a lot with how you interact with the game both inside and outside of the matchday.

The inbox style in FM 24 will be replaced with portals which will provide you with a more refreshing feel to reading important emails and messages.

Women’s Football will be included this time on Football Manager 25. New and improved animations, and graphics updates in both models and environment.

This game has also been officially licensed with the Premier League which will provide real player faces, Premier League club logos, club kits and competition logos.

New Game Engine and Challenges

Sports Interactive Studio is using the Unity game engine for its new game and has already faced quite a few issues and challenges. 

Miles Jacobson, who is the director of the studio, has also talked about this issue in a blog post on the official Football Manager website. 

The development of the game on Unity has been very challenging for them, and it has proved trickier, which they didn’t expect. Because of that, they also have to remove many features. This is also the reason why we are seeing a delay for Football Manager 25.
